Dog Poems

There are dogs in this world that just need a poem written about them.  I’ve composed a few poems for the dogs in my life.  You are welcome to record these poems for your dog. Enjoy!:

A Labrador Will Survive

A Labrador will survive

A Labrador will survive

Eatn’ sticks and twigs and an occasional pig

A Labrador will survive

A Labrador will survive

A Labrador will survive

Cosmo

He’s Cosmo, he’s an optimist, checkin’ my pockets for dog biscuits.

Checkin’ the forecast and checkin’ it twice, hoping milkbone rain from the sky.

He’s Cosmo, he’s an optimist, there aint much he’s gone miss.

Shakin’ me down for my last milkbone, won’t let up till it’s gone,

He’s Cosmo, he’s an optimist, good things come to those who persist.

He’s Cosmo, he’s an optimist.

He’s Cosmo, he’s an optimist.

He’s Cosmo, he’s an optimist.

Jaxie

Jaxie’s out the house, girl hush your mouth

You know you way too loud

To be such a mouse

Be such a mouse!

Be such a mouse!

Be such a mouse!

I heard Jaxie say just the other day,

“When I’m out the house be ready to play

Otherwise you’re in my way!

Stay out my way.

Stay out my way.

Stay out my way.”

Max

His name is Max, Max, Max

He’s got a knack, knack, knack

For scaring Blacks, Blacks, Blacks,

And that’s a fact, fact, fact.

But that’s ok, k, k

His master say, say say,

“He IS K K K,

K K K,

K K K

Charlie

His name is Charlie

Never seen him snarley,

Never indulges, in hops and barley.

Never chases cars,

Though he will chase a squirrel.

Charlie’s a good pet for a boy or girl.

Daisy

Her name is Daisy

She’s so amaizing

She makes me happy

To see her face

Whether she’s trailblazing,

Or simply lazing,

Daisy, you brighten up my day!
